Florida Quest is the inspiring multimedia curriculum presented by DBCC Public Broadcasting and The Daytona Beach News-Journal. It is offered to students in grades 3-6 and to selected classes in other grades including high school. This motivating project takes place AFTER the FCAT testing sessions and is a fun and engaging way to teach your students about our local area, along with critical and creative thinking, reading and writing skills. Students use clues from their local newspaper, video clues, the Florida Quest website and specially designed classroom materials to help solve each chapter's mystery. The Sunshine State Standards met by Florida Quest are listed in this year's booklet. Now in its 18th year, this award-winning project continues to receive accolades from parents, teachers and students.
