We do not solicit information from children and we do not collect any personally identifying information about any child.

The information we receive from a viewer depends upon what you do when visiting our site. For example, if you visit our site to read or download information, such as consumer brochures or press releases we collect and store only the following information about you:

  • the name of the domain from which you access the Internet (for example, aol.com, if you are connecting from an America Online account);

  • the date and time you accessed our site;

  • the Internet address of the Web site from which you linked directly to our site.

We use this information to measure the number of visitors to the different sections of our site, and to help us make our site more useful to visitors.

You also may decide to send us personally-identifying information, for example, in an electronic mail (e-mail) message containing a complaint, story, comment, etc. We use personally-identifying (e-mail address) information from consumers in various ways to further our consumer protection and competition activities. A child´s personally identifying information will not be disclosed to a third party without the parent´s consent.

Personal information collected via individual e-mail requests is sometimes shared with third parties to secure answers to questions. But that information is purged after 30 days and is not shared with others. A parent may review and ask to have a child´s personal information deleted and/or refuse to permit further collection of a child´s information.
