Vacation Donation Plan
Now, more than ever, students need to understand their world as well as develop daily reading habits. Newspaper In Education (NIE) is a program designed to make the newspaper a valuable teaching tool. You can help!
It’s simple - when you are going out of town, ask that your subscription to The News-Journal be donated to the NIE program while you’re away. Classroom sets of newspapers will be distributed to interested teachers in public and nonpublic schools in Volusia and Flagler Counties.
