1. Much of the action for this story is set along the Halifax River. Over the next weeks, clip from your newspaper, pictures and articles showing how the river is used/abused. Create 2 posters showing examples of both the positive and negative. Use your creation to inform others in your school or community.

Dealing with Bullies Have you ever met a bully? A bully is a boy or girl who acts mean or hurtful to others. Bullies pick on someone else as a way to get power, or to get their way, or to feel important.
Graffiti -- Wikipedia Graffiti is a type of deliberate application of a media made by humans on any surface, both private and public. It usually takes the form of publicly painted art, drawings or words. When done without a property owner's consent it constitutes vandalism, although in many countries the owner must press charges before it would be considered a crime.
