 | T. DeWitt Taylor Junior-Senior High School was formed when Pierson High School and Seville High School merged. The new school was first located in the old Pierson High School building and named for T. DeWitt Taylor who served as principal of both schools during his long career in education. |
In the middle of the school year 1961-1962, a new facility was constructed on Washington Street on land donated by the town of Pierson and the Swanson family. In 1989 Taylor Junior-Senior High became Taylor Middle-Senior High, the middle school comprising seventh and eighth grades. | |
