The Monkees, staged their 30th Anniversary Reunion Tour in 1997. Only three of the original four band members participated.

Why would the fourth skip the reunion tour?

Newspaper Connection for Students:

1. Search through The Daytona Beach News-Journal to find other stories of people who have done charitable acts, like Bette Nesmith did when she donated most of her money to charity.

2. Find at least three charitable acts in the News-Journal and write a couple of paragraphs explaining which ones had the most benefit to others, and which ones took the most sacrifice of the donor.
