Sometimes two people cross paths and it changes history. Sometimes a business deal works out well for one person but not the other....

Lionel´s earliest trains were powered by batteries. Who did he buy his batteries from?

Newspaper Connection for Students:

1. Research at least 2 other people who have made sacrifices for the benefit of others. You can probably find some examples in the Daytona Beach News-Journal.

2. Write down in your notebook or scrapbook the reasons why you think they made these sacrifices, and how they became better people for doing so.

3. Keep notes about who the recipients of their sacrifices were and how they benefited.
