Peggy Ann liked to pick flowers. The wild blue flax is one of many wildflowers that can be found blooming in the open grassy areas of Mount Rushmore.![]() | According to Womenfolk.com, it was difficult to do fine stitching on quilts in poor light so most quilting was done in the daylight.![]() |
The ponderosa pine has a bark that smells sweet, kind of like vanilla or butterscotch. This is one of the trees that Peggy Ann enjoyed smelling.![]() | Not only did the Jansen´s stay in a cabin, but many pioneers grew up in cabins including some of the United States´ former presidents.![]() |
