Chapter One: Woodrow Has a Nose for News -- You can have a lot of fun when you start to see all that is in a newspaper, any day of the week. The best part of this is that a newspaper has something in it for everyone.

Each chapter section includes a letter from Woodrow, activities, a section called ´The Write Connection´ and suggestions for parents.

Chapter Two: Woodrow Goes to School -- I hope you are enjoying yourselves as you learn to read. It can be hard work sometimes, but it´s worth it!

Chapter Three: Woodrow Takes a Test -- Everyone takes tests! Even grown-ups. Maybe you can meet with some of your friends and list some good things to do to get ready for a test.

Chapter Four: Woodrow Gets His Badge -- In the newspaper everyday, there are stories about people and pets needing help. Let´s see if there are some stories in today´s newspapers to inspire you to help others.

Chapter Five: Woodrow´s Photo Flop -- I was really embarrassed about that picture in the newspaper. I wonder if any of you have been embarrassed about something at one time or another.

Chapter Six: Woodrow´s Challenge -- Sometimes no matter how hard you try, some people do not like you. It is hard to understand, especially when you are trying to be friendly.

Chapter Seven: Woodrow´s Sage Adviser -- This chapter shows that I have a lot to learn. Even though I am a smart dog, there is always something new to tackle.

Chapter Eight: A New Friend -- Today´s chapter shows that I have to be ready for lots of new experiences. Riding in an elevator was fun, but it was a bit scary too.

Chapter Nine: The Eternal Snowman -- It was fun helping Michael build the snowman in today´s chapter. I live in the South, but many other dogs live in cold climates where there is snow for months at a time.

Chapter Ten: Woodrow´s Royal Lineage -- Even though I did not like hearing that I sulk sometimes, it made me proud to hear about all the good qualities I was born with. Everyone has good and bad points, but I am trying to focus on my good points.

Chapter Eleven: Insults and Injuries -- In today´s chapter, you can see how much I am learning about myself. I was so unhappy when Miss Jessie said I was fat.

Chapter Twelve: Two Lucky Dogs -- Our family had an exciting time in today´s chapter. I learned that I can dance, and that my brother, another dog, can read.

Chapter Thirteen: Dogs Online -- In today´s chapter, I told you that I get great ideas at night just before I go to sleep. I guess everyone has a time when they are the most creative. When do you do your best thinking?
