1. In this chapter, Otto Lilienthal´s accidental death is once again on the minds of the Wright Brothers. Study one edition of The News-Journal and make a chart comparing the number of accidental and non-accidental deaths. Discuss your findings with classmates or family members.

2. The Tate family recycled the fabric and other materials from the discarded gliders. Recycling was a necessary part of their lives and is still important today.
