1. In this chapter, the two brothers show very different ways of handling disappointments and failures. Find examples from the News-Journal that show people coping with the same problem in different ways. With classmates, family or friends, discuss the harmful/helpful effects of the different reactions.
2. The brothers had to use information from both mechanics and engineers. Determine the differences in these two fields. Then, study the want ads in The News-Journal and make a list of the kinds of jobs available in each field.
