Matching Game

Make your own game! Challenge friends and family members - put their memory to the test.

Materials needed: Newspapers, Lightweight cardboard or index cards, Glue, Scissors, Pencil or Pen

Making the cards:

1. Decide what kind of matching game you want to make. You can make it to match adult and baby animals, animals of the same species, animals of the same color, children, food, etc.

2. Cut as many pictures of different things as you can out of the newspaper.

3. Glue them on the lightweight cardboard or index cards.

4. Label each card so there is no confusion once your start playing the game. For example, if you have a picture of a black, adult dog, you can write that on the card.

Rules of the game:

A. Lay down all the cards face down.

B. The first player flips over 2 cards; if those 2 cards match, the player takes those 2 cards and goes again. If those 2 cards do not match, the player´s turn is over and the next person goes.

C. The game is played until all the cards are gone.

D. Count how many cards each player collected and whomever has the most cards wins!
