How does the NIE program work?

The Newspaper In Education program supports instruction by providing: Newspapers at a special rate; A variety of free curriculum guides, workshops and demonstration; lessons to help teachers integrate newspaper use with a minimum of fuss; and a lot of fun!

How often you use the newspapers depends on you, your class and your needs. Once a week delivery is popular; Tuesday is great for elementary students thanks to THE MINI PAGE. Other options include: daily delivery for a week or more, Sunday delivery on Monday, or one delivery a week for a quarter or semester. Feel free to be creative.

Special Publications
Teachers who order The News-Journal for classroom use are encouraged to take advantage of the many quality teacher´s guides available to them.
