Newspaper Lesson Plans
Follow the Clue - Find the StoryMy idea is maybe better for older ESOL students, but it would work, nonetheless, I believe. I suggest picking out several interesting stories in the newspaper that the kids would like, and then making up clues about the article. In class, give the clues to the students, and have them search through the paper (or just the section it is in) until they find the article you were giving the clues for. The first person to find it can stand up and read it. Nicki Hostetter Stetson University
