Newspaper Lesson Plans
Plan A Fun Day!You could use any ads that have restaurants or movies or any other type of entertainment in it. The students will have to "Plan A Fun Day!" They will have to pick out a place to eat and the entertainment that they want to do for that day. Then they will have to figure out how much it will be for each person to do that. They might have to call the restaurants to get menu prices and such, but this will give them great experience. For this activity, they will have set amount of money that they are allowed to use, as well as a set amount of time they have to be out that day. This will teach them how to budget their money and time, as well as to solve real world, daily events that come up.
